Job summary

Local First Arizona is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to design secure CI/CD pipelines on an AWS-based platform and automate infrastructure provisioning. This role emphasizes shift-left security, FedRAMP and NIST alignment, and collaboration with developers and security teams.

You’ll implement IaC with CDK/CloudFormation, automate deployments, and use AI-assisted tooling to improve pipeline quality and speed. Hybrid work in Reston, VA area with client locations in DC.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of DevOps/DevSecOps or cloud engineering experience.
• Hands-on with AWS, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Experience integrating security automation into pipelines.
• Scripting in Python, Bash, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and optimize secure CI/CD pipelines in AWS.
• Implement infrastructure as code using AWS CDK and CloudFormation.
• Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment of environments.
• Integrate SAST/DAST/SCA and other security checks into pipelines.
• Collaborate with development, security, and engineering teams.
