Seneca Resources is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join a mission-focused team supporting critical federal systems in Washington, DC. The role emphasizes secure software delivery, CI/CD automation, and cloud security across classified and enterprise environments.

You will design, implement, and maintain secure development pipelines, mentor engineers on secure coding, and collaborate with security, software, and operations teams to uphold SSDLC, vulnerability management, and compliance

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• DoD 8140-compliant certification such as CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Cloud+, CompTIA CySA+, or higher.
• 5+ years of experience in DevSecOps, DevOps, or related engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD platforms, infrastructure automation, and cloud security tools.
• Experience deploying and operating enterprise security platforms in classified and multi-environment infrastructures.
• Strong understanding of secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC), vulnerability management, and compliance frameworks.
• Experience supporting large-scale federal or defense programs with complex security requirements.

Pay Rate: $170K–$220K (Depends on qualification)

Position Description: We are seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join a mission-focused team supporting critical federal government systems. This role is ideal for a security-minded engineer with deep experience in DevSecOps, CI/CD automation, cloud security, and secure software delivery across classified and enterprise environments. The successful candidate will help design, implement, and maintain secure development pipelines while partnering with software engineers, security teams, and operations personnel to integrate security throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Key Responsibilities
