We are adding a DevSecOps Pipeline Engineer to a Platform Engineering team support the Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC). This Platform Engineering team owns and operates the Kubernetes clusters running on OCI, as well as the developer tooling that supports DMDC and its 200 applications. As a team, they provide CI/CD pipeline infrastructure, support application deployments, and host tooling for the broader DMDC user base (GitLab, Jenkins, Nexus, and Rancher / RKE2, SonarQube, etc.) while continuously strengthening the organization’s DevSecOps practices and high availability. On the team you will split your time between operational ownership of the current platform (incident response, service requests, reliability improvements, and cloud migration support) and engineering work that uses these operational insights to automate, standardize, and scale delivery. Initially, we would integrate you into the team coordinating and managing the O&M Operation queue of requests and changes that need to be made to the tools and platform. Over the next years, you could transition to independent development of enhancements and automation.
