Job summary

CACI International Inc. is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage secure cloud infrastructures and CI/CD pipelines.

The role emphasizes automated security practices, RMF/NIST/STIG compliance, and collaboration across Dev, Ops, and Sec teams in a mission-focused environment. The ideal candidate will have TS/SCI with Poly, 5+ years in DevSecOps or related roles, and experience with Puppet/Ansible, GitLab CI/CD, Docker/Podman, and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with TS/SCI with Polygraph.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer, DevSecOps Engineer, or Infrastructure Engineer.
  • Experience with automated configuration management using Puppet, Ansible, or similar tools within a CI/CD framework.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell and Bash scripting for automation, diagnostics, and lifecycle management.
  • Strong understanding of RMF, NIST SP 800-53, CNSSI 1253, and STIG compliance requirements.
  • Experience performing vulnerability scanning with ACAS/Nessus and remediation for ATO compliance.
  • Ability to work in distributed, mission-focused teams and adapt to priorities.
  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Podman) in classified environments.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline tools (GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, ArgoCD).
  • Familiarity with incident response, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage secure virtual and cloud infrastructures.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or other tools to automate deployments.
  • Implement and manage container orchestration using Kubernetes or similar software.
  • Automate security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and application performance.
  • Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to optimize DevSecOps pipeline.
  • Create and maintain documentation for procedures and configurations.
  • Apply DevSecOps methodologies to remove bottlenecks and improve processes.
  • Support backup and disaster recovery strategies.
