Position

Dark Wolf seeks a DevSecOps Engineer to accelerate secure delivery of mission‑critical software by embedding DevSecOps practices into the development pipeline. The focus will be on automating deployment and security controls, building self‑service platform tools to eliminate manual bottlenecks, ensuring continuous compliance, and maintaining Authority to Operate (ATO) across all environments. The role supports hybrid work in Arlington, VA.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and assist ongoing development of continuous build/integration infrastructure.
• Support CI/CD tools integration, operations, change management and maintenance.
• Lead full automation of CI and testing processes.
• Develop and enforce policies, standards, guidelines, governance and guidance for CI/CD operations and developer work.
• Collaborate with software developers, production support, and information security to automate and support infrastructure and tooling in cloud‑based platforms.
• Advise on agile and DevSecOps practices to streamline product delivery and reliable operations.
• Continuously identify opportunities to automate and save time.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT Security, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• 14+ years of relevant work experience.
• Experience working with commercial cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Extensive experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and container security.
• Experience designing Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform or Ansible.
• Strong proficiency in CI/CD tooling (GitLab CI, Jenkins, ArgoCD, or similar).
• Experience with Linux administration and hardening.
• Demonstrated knowledge of DevSecOps processes and software supply chain security (SBOMs, signing, verification).
• Proven experience designing, deploying, operating, and maintaining secure cloud products and services in a cloud‑based environment to enable development teams to deliver features efficiently.
• Proven experience providing source control management/documentation, creating and maintaining fully automated CI build processes for multiple environments.
• Experience writing, building, and deploying scripts.
• Proven experience enabling successful release management by moving code from development and testing environments to staging and production.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
• U.S. citizenship and an active Top Secret security clearance.

Salary range: $155,000.00 – $185,000.00, commensurate with experience and technical skill set.
