Job summary

Talenzaa is seeking an experienced senior software engineer to own the design and delivery of cognitive AI platforms. You will work on Python backend (FastAPI) and React frontend, integrate LLMs, and architect self-healing AI pipelines to enable knowledge retrieval.

You will lead technical design for new cognitive capabilities, build observability for AI systems, and mentor offshore engineers while contributing to DevSecOps and release processes. US business hours on rotation.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering with 4+ years in AI/ML or LLM-based systems.
• Proficient in Python (FastAPI, Pydantic, boto3) and TypeScript (React, Node.js).
• Strong AWS fundamentals (ECS/Fargate, Lambda, DynamoDB, IAM, CloudWatch, EventBridge).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI or similar) and environment management.
• Experience mentoring or leading offshore engineers.
• Experience building cognitive/AI platforms or internal engineering platforms.
• Terraform for infrastructure-as-code.
• Security engineering: SAST/DAST, container scanning, IAM policy design.
• Experience with AI-assisted development workflows (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot).
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures (EventBridge, SQS, SNS).

Responsibilities

• AI & Cognitive Engineering: develop and extend internal cognitive platforms and capabilities.
• Build Python backend (FastAPI) and React frontend.
• LLM integrations, prompt engineering, and knowledge retrieval.
• Lead technical design for cognitive features such as COG scoring and Delta analytics.
• Build observability for AI systems including token budgets, model accuracy, drift detection, and confidence scoring.
• Design and implement RAG pipelines with embeddings, vector search, and semantic retrieval.
• Contribute to Guild Commons skills, agents, and hooks shared across the organization.
• Drive adoption of AI tooling and enablement across teams; mentor offshore engineers.
• Pioneer self-heal automation, detection, decision, and remediation pipelines.
• Support DevSecOps and infrastructure: CI/CD, Terraform, and AWS changes review.

• DevSecOps & Infrastructure (15%) - Support CI/CD pipelines — troubleshoot build failures, optimize stages, manage environment promotions
• Manage AWS infrastructure as needed — ECS services, Lambda functions, DynamoDB, IAM
• Support production incident response during US business hours when on rotation
• Maintain Terraform configurations; review infrastructure changes
• Release Management & Quality (15%)
• Contribute to quality gates — automated testing, coverage enforcement, static analysis
• Support ServiceNow change records and Jira workflows as needed - Generate release metrics
