Job summary

Cinteot Inc. is seeking a skilled DevOps Systems Engineer to join our Information Technology team in Herndon, VA. This role focuses on the deployment and support of high-performance computing programs within our DC-MLS Enterprise team, with an emphasis on automation and CI/CD practices.

The ideal candidate will have a strong Unix/Linux foundation, extensive scripting experience, and a demonstrated ability to develop deployment automation while maintaining system security and compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Linux, scripting, and configuration management.
• Proficiency in Python, Perl, Korn shell, Bourne/Bash, and Ansible.
• Security+ certification required.

Job Summary

Cinteot is seeking a skilled DevOps Systems Engineer to join our dynamic Information Technology team in Herndon, VA. This role is integral to our Data Centric-Multi-Level Secure® (DC-MLS®) Enterprise team, focusing on the deployment and support of high-performance computing programs and other critical contracts. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Unix/Linux systems and a passion for automation and continuous integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize scripting languages for configuration management and automation tasks.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Linux, scripting/software development, and configuration management.
• Proficiency in Python, Perl, Korn, Bourne/Bash, Ansible, and other shell scripting.
• Experience with revision control software (CVS, SVN, Git, GitLab, GitLab CI).
• Demonstrated ability to manage and develop DevOps deployment automation processes.
• Security+ Certification is required.
