EPITEC in Dearborn, MI is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to support software development, deployment, automation, and release processes. This contract role focuses on CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, system administration, and improving automation throughout the software lifecycle.

The position is hybrid (4 days onsite, 1 day remote) with local candidates only. Pay rate is $54/hour (W2 only, no C2C). The assignment is 12 months, with potential for extension based on performance.

Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions
• Support software releases and deployments across production, testing, and sandbox environments
• Develop automation to improve development and deployment processes
• Perform root cause analysis on build, pipeline, and production issues
• Integrate solutions with internal back-end systems
• Improve system troubleshooting and maintenance procedures
• Support Linux and Windows environments
• Identify opportunities to improve DevOps processes, reliability, and deployment speed
