Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies in Columbus, OH seeks an experienced Chief Architect – DevOps & Observability to define and drive enterprise-wide DevSecOps, Platform Engineering, and Observability standards. The ideal candidate will have strong enterprise architecture experience combined with hands-on expertise in cloud, Kubernetes, CI/CD, IaC, and telemetry.

You will lead standards for CI/CD, IaC, GitOps, security, and release management; define observability metrics, logs, traces, and dashboards;

Qualifications

• Define enterprise DevOps/DevSecOps gold standards and reference architectures.
• Establish CI/CD, IaC, Kubernetes, GitOps, security, testing, and release standards.
• Define Observability standards for metrics, logs, traces, APM, APIs, and databases.
• Establish SLIs, SLOs, SLAs, KPIs, alerting, dashboards, and telemetry standards.
• Evaluate emerging DevOps, DevSecOps, Platform Engineering, and Observability technologies.
• Lead POCs/POVs, tech evaluations, and Build vs. Buy vs. Partner assessments.
• Create reusable CI/CD templates, Terraform modules, security integrations, dashboards, onboarding frameworks.
• Drive enterprise adoption of DevSecOps and Observability standards across teams.
• Partner with Engineering, Security, Cloud, Operations, and AIOps teams to govern standards.

• Establish standards for CI/CD, IaC, Kubernetes, GitOps, security, testing, and release management.
• Define enterprise Observability standards for metrics, logs, traces, and dashboards.
• Establish SLIs, SLOs, SLAs, and KPIs with alerting and telemetry.
• Evaluate new DevOps/Platform Engineering/Observability technologies.
• Lead technology evaluations and Build vs. Buy decisions.
• Develop reusable CI/CD templates and Terraform modules.
• Drive adoption of standards across application and infrastructure teams.
