Coherent Solutions, Inc. seeks an experienced DevOps Engineer (Digital Engineering) to support an Azure-based platform powering life insurance services. You will design scalable infrastructure with Terraform and build YAML pipelines for CI/CD across apps, data, and containers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Azure DevOps or similar roles.
• Hands-on Terraform experience with modules, workspaces, backends, and state management.
• Experience building Azure DevOps Pipelines using YAML.
• Hands-on Argo CD and GitOps-based deployments to AKS.
• Solid Azure administration skills including RBAC, networking, storage, and cost governance.
• Experience managing Databricks workspaces and clusters.
• Experience integrating SonarQube into CI/CD pipelines for code quality assurance.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Scripting proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• English proficiency (B2 level or higher).
• Availability for the 4:00 PM–12:00 AM CST shift.

Responsibilities

• Design, provision, and maintain scalable Azure infrastructure using Terraform with a focus on modularity and security.
• Build, optimize, and support YAML-based Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure, app, container, and data workloads.
• Implement and maintain GitOps workflows with Argo CD for AKS deployments.
• Embed DevSecOps practices including SonarQube, code quality checks, vulnerability scanning, and secrets management.
• Administer and optimize Azure services (VNets, LB, App Services, Key Vault, Storage, Azure AD) with RBAC and governance.
• Configure monitoring with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics; troubleshoot deployments and performance.
• Manage Databricks workspaces/clusters, Unity Catalog, and automate deployments via Terraform and CI/CD.
• Collaborate with architecture, data engineering, and security teams; maintain docs and runbooks; mentor juniors.
