Job summary

Citi in Pune, India, seeks a senior DevOps Lead (AVP) to own day-to-day DevOps execution, release coordination, platform stability, and DevSecOps remediation across the tech stack. You will partner with Development, QA, Infrastructure and Production Support teams to ensure reliable, compliant delivery and effective deployment automation and CI/CD improvements.

The ideal candidate has 10–12 years of DevOps/DevSecOps experience, cloud expertise with Google Cloud or AWS, and a Bachelor’s degree;

Job Overview

Citi Funds Transfer Pricing (CitiFTP) is expanding significantly as part of Treasury's transformation roadmap, supporting additional pricing components, new business capabilities, and increasing regulatory commitments.

To support this growth, CitiFTP requires a C12 (AVP) DevOps Lead in Pune to drive day-to-day DevOps execution, release coordination, platform stability, and DevSecOps remediation activities. The role will work closely with Development, QA, Infrastructure, and Production Support teams to ensure reliable and compliant delivery across the platform.

Key Responsibilities

DevOps Operations & Release Execution

• Support day-to-day DevOps activities across development, test, and production environments.
• Coordinate application releases, deployment activities, and environment readiness.
• Monitor platform health and proactively address operational issues and risks.
• Drive deployment automation and CI/CD process improvements.

DevSecOps & Risk Management

• Manage vulnerability remediation activities, including CVM, Snyk, and security findings.
• Track and drive closure of audit, compliance, and technology risk items.
• Support EOL/EOS remediation and control improvement initiatives.
• Provide reporting on remediation progress and operational metrics.

Collaboration & Delivery

• Partner with Engineering, Infrastructure, Security, and Treasury stakeholders to support platform delivery objectives.
• Assist with incident management, root cause analysis, and operational improvements.
• Support global teams across NAM, EMEA, and APAC to ensure consistent execution and governance.

Recommended Qualifications:

• 10-12 years of relevant experience
• Experience in DevOps/DevSecOps
• Experience in managing and implementing successful projects
• Working knowledge of consulting/project management techniques/methods
• Experience with Google Cloud / AWS

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
