Job summary

SWIVEL offers a College Intern Program for Computer Science students in San Antonio, TX. Interns gain hands-on experience within our DevOps team and are paid for both full-time and part-time opportunities, placed based on interest and university schedule.

You'll learn from talented quality engineering professionals, receive mentorship, and work on impactful projects in the financial services industry, developing skills in DevOps, software operations, and enterprise IT management.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related program at an accredited university/college.
• Experience with Java and C# preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills required.
• Detail oriented and possess excellent follow up skills.
• Organized and adapt well to change.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
• Passion and desire for learning and a proactive energy for getting things done.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on DevOps and software operations experience within the DevOps team.
• Assist in building systems interfacing with SWIVEL clientele and automation tools.
• Collaborate with the DevOps team and shadow team members.
• Develop skills relevant to the financial services industry while growing professionally.
• Contribute to ad hoc projects and practical, real-world initiatives.
