Job summary

Centinus is seeking a DevOps & Infrastructure Engineer to build and own the foundational systems that move software from development into production in real-world environments. You will be the senior technical authority for DevOps, owning pipelines, testing, release management, and reliability across cloud, edge, and on-premises deployments.

You will collaborate with AI, systems, and autonomy engineers to scale infrastructure, improve observability, and ensure production readiness while growing

Qualifications

• Strong experience in DevOps, platform engineering, site reliability, infrastructure, or test automation supporting containerized and distributed production systems.
• Proven ability to build automated CI/CD, system-level testing, and infrastructure automation.
• Strong knowledge of Linux, networking, observability, and secure, highly available systems.

THE ROLE

Centinus is seeking a DevOps & Infrastructure Engineer to make our physical AI platform reliable, secure, testable, and ready for demanding operational environments.

This is a foundational, hands-on role with significant ownership. You will serve as a senior technical authority for DevOps and infrastructure, helping define how Centinus builds, deploys, scales, and operates its platform as the company grows.

You will own the systems and automation that move software safely from development into production, with responsibility spanning infrastructure, CI/CD, release management, system reliability, automated testing, and production readiness. Your work will directly affect product quality, deployment speed, operational resilience, and customer trust.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Build and maintain secure, automated software-delivery pipelines, including release management, security and compliance needs, and software supply-chain practices.

• Develop automated system-level testing and production-readiness workflows across the platform.

• Enable dependable deployment across cloud, on-premises, edge, and disconnected environments.

• Improve availability, observability, recovery, and operational performance - making failures easier to reproduce, diagnose, and prevent.

• Partner with AI, systems, and autonomy engineers to deliver production-ready capabilities and establish infrastructure and quality practices that scale.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Strong experience in DevOps, platform engineering, site reliability engineering, infrastructure, or test automation supporting containerized and distributed production systems.

• Proven ability to build automated CI/CD, system-level testing, and infrastructure automation.

• Strong knowledge of Linux, networking, observability, and secure, highly available, or mission-critical systems.

• Excellent troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills, with a high standard for reliability, quality, and operational discipline.

• The ability to take broad ownership and operate effectively in an early-stage environment.

Highly valued: experience with edge systems, robotics, aerospace, government environments, disconnected deployments, or hardware-integrated testing.
