The role focuses on designing, automating, and maintaining IAM across cloud environments with IaC using Terraform and Terragrunt, and managing Microsoft Entra ID. You will collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to enforce best practices and governance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps, IAM, Cloud Engineering, or related roles.
• Hands-on Terraform and Terragrunt in enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of IAM concepts including SSO, MFA, RBAC, federation, and governance.
• Experience administering Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD and Azure cloud security services.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools, automation frameworks, and scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support IAM solutions across enterprise cloud environments.
• Develop and maintain IaC deployments using Terraform and Terragrunt.
• Manage Microsoft Entra ID environments, including governance and authentication services.

Piper Companies is seeking a DevOps IAM Engineer to join a leading technology-focused organization supporting enterprise cloud infrastructure and identity security initiatives. The DevOps IAM Engineer will play a key role in designing, automating, and maintaining identity and access management solutions across cloud environments, with a strong focus on Infrastructure as Code, Microsoft Entra ID, and enterprise automation.

Responsibilities of the DevOps IAM Engineer

• Design, implement, and support Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions across enterprise cloud environments.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) deployments utilizing Terraform and Terragrunt.
• Manage and optimize Microsoft Entra ID environments, including identity governance, access controls, and authentication services.
• Automate IAM provisioning, deprovisioning, and policy enforcement processes through CI/CD pipelines and scripting.
• Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.
• Monitor IAM platforms and troubleshoot identity-related issues across hybrid and cloud environments.

Qualifications of the DevOps IAM Engineer

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, IAM, Cloud Engineering, or related roles.

• Experience working in remote, collaborative Agile environments preferred.

Compensation for the DevOps IAM Engineer includes

• Salary range: $130,000 - $155,000 depending on experience
• Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and PTO
