Job summary

JOB DUTIES:

The DevOps Engineers – 1 will support the development, implementation, and maintenance of automated deployment pipelines and cloud-based infrastructure environments. The engineer will work under the supervision of senior team members and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system reliability, scalability, and deployment efficiency.

• Assisting in the development and management of CI/CD pipelines.
• Supporting cloud infrastructure environments under guidance.
• Participating in system monitoring and basic troubleshooting tasks.
• Writing basic automation scripts to streamline operations.
• Supporting the deployment and maintenance of containerized applications.
• Assisting with configuration management and infrastructure automation.
• Participating in code reviews and documentation of operational processes.

RELOCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Relocation to various unanticipated client sites across USA required up to 4 times per year.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equiv.) in Computer Science or any IT related field, any Engineering / Technology field, or related.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

• Cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration basics with Kubernetes.
• CI/CD principles and tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts and tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Linux or Unix-based system administration.
• Scripting in Python, Shell, or a similar language.
• Basic monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack).
• Configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
