Job summary

Trexquant Investment is seeking a DevOps Engineer to build, manage, and scale automation, tooling, and delivery pipelines supporting our research and trading platforms. You will work with the Systems team to refine deployment workflows, maintain internal operational tools, and expand our capabilities.

Responsibilities include container orchestration with Kubernetes, designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI), automated configuration, and developing internal tools.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a DevOps, Infrastructure, or SRE role within a Linux-centric environment.
• Hands-on Kubernetes management and deployment strategies.
• Experience building and scaling CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI).
• Proficiency with Linux system administration, shell scripting, and configuration-driven tooling.
• Familiarity with observability platforms (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a DevOps, Infrastructure, or SRE role within a Linux-centric environment.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes management and deployment strategies.
• Proven experience building and scaling CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI or similar tools).
• Proficiency with Linux system administration, shell scripting, and configuration-driven tooling.
• Familiarity with observability platforms (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Ability to collaborate effectively across technical teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Preferred: Prior experience supporting quantitative research, trading platforms, or high-performance computing (HPC) environments.
