Job summary

OpenTalent is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable DevOps pipelines across on‑premises, secure low‑side environments, and AWS cloud services. The role requires active TS/SCI FSP clearance to start.

You will collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to ensure seamless continuous delivery, monitor performance, and automate deployment and configuration tasks while upholding security policies.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar.
  • Strong knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud services, particularly AWS, including EC2, S3, and CloudFormation.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
  • Understanding of networking, security protocols, and infrastructure as code (IaC).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Job description

The DevOps Engineer will leverage the latest industry DevOps tools and containerization processes to provide and maintain a DevOps and development environment to support production efforts and pilot programs within the organization’s secure and low-side environments, on-premises equipment, and AWS cloud services.
