Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, is seeking a lead DevOps engineer to design, implement, and maintain automated software test frameworks and the related infrastructure. You will build and sustain CI/CD pipelines and automation for cloud resources, using IaC, RPA, and orchestration.

Requirements include 5+ years in DevOps or infrastructure, Bachelor’s in a technical field, active Secret clearance, and strong Terraform/Ansible/Python skills. Master’s degree preferred.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent relevant experience.
• Master’s Degree preferred.
• 5+ years experience in DevOps, automation, or infrastructure engineering.
• Active Secret clearance.
• Expert in Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, Python, Git/GitLab.
• Strong knowledge of AWS/Azure APIs, CI/CD tools, container platforms.

Job description

Automates the generation of executable software and installation into target environments. Serves as an expert in designing, implementing and maintaining software test automation test frameworks/solutions. Acts as a lead to a team of engineers developing and maintaining application software and database packages.

• Design, develop, and implement automation solutions using IaC, RPA, and orchestration.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments.
• Develop Terraform/CloudFormation templates for cloud resource provisioning.
• Create Ansible/PowerShell automation scripts for configuration management.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience with RPA tools (UiPath, Automation Anywhere) preferred.
• Engineer 3 3 or similar certification preferred.

Compensation ranges for ASM Research positions vary depending on multiple factors; including but not limited to, location, skill set, level of education, certifications, client requirements, contract‑specific affordability, government clearance and investigation level, and years of experience. The compensation displayed for this role is a general guideline based on these factors and is unique to each role. Monetary compensation is one component of ASM’s overall compensation and benefits package for employees.
