Job summary

Trexquant, a leading research and trading technology firm, is seeking a DevOps Engineer to build, scale, and automate deployment pipelines and tooling to support its research and trading platforms. The role collaborates closely with the Systems team to refine workflows and expand internal capabilities.

The candidate will own container orchestration, CI/CD pipeline design, and automated configuration strategies, while sustaining observability tooling and documentation for scalable operations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure, or SRE in a Linux-centric environment.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes management and deployment strategies.
• Proven experience building and scaling CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI or similar tools).
• Proficiency with Linux system administration, shell scripting, and configuration-driven tooling.
• Familiarity with observability platforms (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).

Responsibilities

• Container Orchestration: Manage and optimize Kubernetes environments and workload deployments.
• CI/CD Pipeline Engineering: Design, build, and maintain deployment pipelines to support diverse technical workloads.
• Deployment & Configuration: Implement automated configuration strategies to standardize operational practices and improve delivery speed.
• Tooling & Enablement: Develop internal tools and automation that simplify infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and management.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Linux Systems Engineers and stakeholders to align delivery pipelines with goals.
• Operations & Best Practices: Maintain observability tooling and document best practices for scalability.
