Job summary

Captivation is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support modernization of agency tools, deploying applications and configuring software. You will manage servers, monitor performance, and troubleshoot outages, including on-call rotations.

A Top Secret/SCI clearance with favorable polygraph is required; US citizenship is mandatory. Minimal qualifications include a Bachelor's degree and 3 years of software development/engineering experience.

Description

Captivation Software has an immediate need for a DevOps Engineer to support modernization effort to converge the agency's authoring, dissemination, and other supporting tools. Responsibilities will include: deploying applications; installing and configuring complex software; managing network servers and technology tools; monitoring and maintaining the system for required levels of performance; and troubleshooting issues and outages.

Candidates will be required to work a rotating pager schedule for emergency 24/7 call-in support as required (roughly 1 week out of every 3-4 weeks). Staff may charge 4 additional hours for the week they are on call in addition to hours worked. On average, the first team is paged for after-hours support approximately once every couple of months with most issues resolvable by phone.

Requirements

• Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen
  
  

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in software development/engineering, including requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, or problem diagnosis/resolution.
