They are looking for a hands on Devops Engineer with AWS experience to script and grow their enterprise product and work on the platform that is being built from scratch. This candidate should have about 5-7 years of work experience and 2-3 years of experience working in devops. Their most recent project should be working on devops (with an infrastructure background) and they must come from a large enterprise company.

Must haves:

• 2 years + of solid experience working with AWS (Amazon Web Services) (EC2, VPC, ELB, RDS, SQS, etc. (5-7 years of total work experience)
• At least 1 year experience with Docker
• Chef, Puppet or Ansible for scripting and automation
• Build and release automation tools like Jenkins.
• 5+ years’ experience with Unix/Linux administration

The candidate should have professional experience with AWS (EC2, VPC, ELB, RDS, SQS, etc) AWS CLI, Docker, Jenkins, and Chef, Puppet or Ansible for scripting. They should be able to script on Unix/Linux and be very strong with writing scripts to automate everything. They should believe that they can automate anything and everything. Candidate should have experience with infrastructure as code as well as have experience with continuous deployment and continuous integration. They will not be doing production support however; they will be doing UAT testing. Candidate should come from a Unix/Linux admin and app server background (5+ years). Should have experience working in an iterative based development environment using Agile/Scrum methodologies or Kanban.
