Insight42 is seeking a DevOps Engineer (m/f/d) for 100% remote work in Germany. You will design, automate and maintain deployment pipelines and cloud infrastructure to keep production workloads reliable, scalable and fast.

You will collaborate with software engineering and data teams, manage IaC with Terraform and CloudFormation, and work with Docker and Kubernetes to ensure smooth releases, security, and observability across our data platforms and AI products.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of experience as a DevOps or Cloud Engineer.
• Expertise in at least one major cloud provider (Azure, GCP, or AWS).
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or ArgoCD).
• Hands-on with scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Understanding of networking, load balancing, and security best practices.
• Fluent English; German is a plus.

What you will work on

You build the path from commit to production. In our distributed team you design, automate and maintain the deployment pipelines and cloud infrastructure that keep production workloads reliable, scalable and fast.

Your tasks

• Design, build, and manage CI/CD pipelines using cloud‑native tools
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using IaC frameworks (Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation)
• Manage container deployments (Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Container Apps, GKE, or EKS)
• Monitor system performance and build observability that catches issues early
• Work closely with software engineering and data teams so releases ship smoothly
• Maintain security compliance, secrets management, and backup strategies

What you bring

• 3+ years of experience as a DevOps or Cloud Engineer
• Expertise in at least one major cloud provider (Azure, GCP, or AWS)
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or ArgoCD)
• Hands‑on with scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell)

• Fluent communication skills in English; German is a plus

Nice to Have

• Experience with monitoring stacks such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and zero‑downtime deployments
• Knowledge of Vault, Secret Manager, or similar tools for secure secret handling
