Job summary

Captivation Software has an immediate need for a DevOps Engineer in Maryland to support modernization efforts converging authoring and dissemination tools. Responsibilities include deploying applications, configuring software, managing servers and tools, monitoring performance, and troubleshooting outages.

Candidates must hold a Top Secret/SCI clearance with a favorable polygraph and be a U.S. citizen, with a bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in software development/engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 3+ years in software development/engineering.
• Experience with deploying distributed web apps and CI/CD tooling.
• Clearance requirements: TS/SCI with favorable polygraph; US citizen.

Responsibilities

• Deploy applications and install/configure complex software.
• Manage network servers and technology tools; monitor performance.
• Troubleshoot issues, outages, and ensure 24/7 on-call readiness.
