Job summary

Dark Wolf in College Park, MD is seeking a DevOps Engineer to build and maintain a DevSecOps Platform as a Service for a DoD customer. You will work on Kubernetes-based PaaS solutions, automate deployments, and ensure security and performance across environments.

The role requires on-site presence at least 3 days per week with a part-time remote option, and offers a salary range of $100,000–$140,000 depending on experience and interview performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Linux server administration in enterprise environments.
• Experience deploying and securing Kubernetes platforms.
• Experience with CI/CD automation servers (GitLab CI, Jenkins).
• Identity management including SSO using OIDC or SAML.
• U.S. citizenship with active Secret clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Deploying and maintaining services across on-prem and cloud-native architectures.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity to implement system hardening practices.
• Automate provisioning and configuration using IaC and GitOps.
• Operate Kubernetes platforms across multiple environments and levels.
• Provide onboarding support to开发 teams and ensure DoD policy compliance.
• Support backup and disaster recovery planning and testing.
• Monitor security and performance of platforms and deployed services.
