A leading technology company in Dallas is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to manage automation, cloud technologies, and CI/CD tools. Applicants should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in automation and cloud services, along with expertise in scripting and container technologies. This role requires strong knowledge in delivery solutions for automated deployments and familiarity with networking and security. Ideal candidates are committed, responsible, and capable of effective communication in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience with automation/configuration management.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience with cloud technologies and services.
• Ability to write ARM, PowerShell & CFN scripts.

Job description

Role: DevOps Engineer
Location: Dallas, TX
Duration: Fulltime

BGV will be done for the selected candidates.

Requirements

• Min. 5+ yrs. of experience with automation/ configuration management using either Chef, Puppet, Ansible.
• Min. 5+ yrs. of experience with cloud technologies and services (AWS & Azure).
• Ability to write ARM, PowerShell & CFN scripts.
• Min. 7+ yrs. of experience with CI/ CD tools (TeamCity, Bamboo, Jenkins, TFS, Apache Ant, Apache Maven, GitHub, etc.) i.e. strong knowledge in Orchestration, Build Management, Scripting, Release and Deployment Management & Monitoring tools.
• Min. 3+ yrs. of experience with container technologies (like Docker).
• Exhibit deep understanding of three-tier web architecture.
• Strong experience in scripting languages like Bash, Python, Perl and Ruby.
• Excellent knowledge in networking and security.

Responsibilities

• Good knowledge on ALM, CI, CD, CT, SCM & Environment Management.
• Deliver E2E solution for automated build, deployment, monitoring, and cloud infrastructure.
• Ability to quickly understand requirements.
• Must be a responsible individual capable of teamwork and communication.
• Experience setting up monitoring/ logging systems and tools like Zabbix, NewRelic, Splunk, etc.
