Job summary

Stelvio Inc. seeks a DevOps Engineer to automate and improve infrastructure, development, and deployment in a cloud-native microservices environment. You’ll work across cloud infra, Kubernetes, CI/CD, IaC, monitoring, and automation, joining software, QA, and IT teams. On-call rotation is included for production support.

You will design and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure, implement GitOps, and ensure security and compliance while optimizing reliability and cost across AWS/Azure/GCP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years in DevOps, SRE, or similar role.
• Hands-on with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Dagger, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
• IaC expertise with Terraform, Ansible, and Helm.
• GitOps experience with Argo CD.
• Strong Docker and Kubernetes knowledge.
• Scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Monitoring/observability with Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, or ELK.
• Solid Git/GitHub/GitLab skills.
• Troubleshooting across infra, deployments, and production.
• Collaborates well across dev, QA, and ops teams.
• Security practices: secrets mgmt, access controls, policy-as-code.
• Support SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS compliance.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Manage cloud environments for availability, reliability, security, performance, and cost.
• Operate Kubernetes platforms, including stateful workloads and Kafka/NATS.
• Build and maintain containerized CI/CD pipelines with Dagger, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Automate build, testing, and deployment processes across apps and services.
• Implement IaC with Terraform or Ansible, along with Helm and GitOps workflows.
• Manage Kubernetes deployments using Argo CD.
• Automate provisioning, configuration, and scaling for repeatable environments.
• Manage containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement monitoring, logging, tracing, alerting with Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ELK.
• Monitor production systems, troubleshoot performance issues, and respond to incidents on call.
• Collaborate with developers, sysadmins, QA to improve deployment and ops.
• Integrate security into infra and deployment workflows; secrets management and access controls.
• Support compliance with SOC 2, ISO 27001, and PCI DSS.
