The role emphasizes automation, observability, security reviews, and container-based deployments across Azure, AWS, and on-prem environments, building scalable delivery systems for a product-driven organization.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
Strong SDLC understanding with emphasis on automation and release quality.
3+ years in DevOps/SRE or 5+ years in Software Engineering supporting production systems.
Strong scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell, and Python.
Experience in cross-functional environments with Engineering and IT.
Excellent problem solving, communication, and documentation abilities.
Self-directed and collaborative in a product-driven environment.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and operate CI/CD pipelines across environments.
Collaborate with Software Engineering to align build, deployment, and runtime needs.
Work with IT on infrastructure, security, and platform changes.
Monitor and improve observability: logging, metrics, and alerts for reliability.
Contribute to container deployment strategies; ensure portability and readiness.
Improve reliability, scalability, and security of delivery pipelines and releases.
Participate in security reviews, audits, and risk assessments.
Evaluate technologies to enhance delivery speed and maintainability.
Track operational work and support activities in established systems.
Support VP Product Delivery and Product Team on projects.
