Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a DevOps Automation professional in the United States to support development, testing, and operations teams. You will enhance automation, deployment processes, data workflows, and collaboration across Agile teams, with duties spanning Python automation, CI/CD, Docker and Kubernetes, and SIPR migration readiness.

The role requires a foundation in software engineering and data workflows, with multiple education/experience paths and the possibility of SECRET clearance

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python for automation and data workflows.
• Linux environment experience.
• Familiarity with Git workflows on GitHub or GitLab.
• Basic SQL, RDS, and Databricks understanding.
• Exposure to Docker or containerized environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to document procedures in an Agile/Scrum setting.
• Eligibility to work on NIPR systems and obtain SECRET clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and document Python-based automation scripts for dev, QA, and ops.
• Assist CI/CD with GitLab and GitHub, including build, test, and deploy workflows.
• Support Docker containerization and contribute to Kubernetes-based environments.
• Maintain version control branches and repository structures.
• Handle data, SQL queries, and structured data prep for analysis.
• Assist AWS- and Databricks-based data workflows with onboarding provided.
• Participate in functional and regression testing and defect logging.
• Improve JIRA workflows, dashboards, and sprint boards for efficiency.
• Collaborate across cross-functional Agile teams on backlog and user stories.
• Prepare artifacts and docs for SIPR migration as needed.
