Job summary

Dexian Government Solutions in Monterey, CA is seeking a DevOps professional to design and build automated deployment pipelines with emphasis on reproducibility, auditability and traceability for deployments, monitoring and operations.

The role collaborates with developers to design, test and deploy changes, supports CI/CD, cloud and container environments, and requires IAT level II clearance and related certifications.

Qualifications

• AA/AS degree or 3 years related experience required.
• Experience with Windows and Linux OS, VMWare ESXi deployment and operations.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, Ruby) and at least one general-purpose language.
• CI/CD tools, configuration management, container tech and cloud platforms experience.
• Knowledge of SDLC, Agile, and ITIL concepts; strong teamwork and communication.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code, Docker and container orchestration (ECS, Kubernetes), GitLab and Microsoft Team Foundation.
• SAN tech knowledge and related applications.
• IAT Level II certification and related data center/cloud/devops certs; NACLC clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provides CI/CD solutions compliant with ITIL processes.
• Plan, install, maintain, troubleshoot DevOps servers and apps.
• Collaborate with developers to design, test and deploy changes.
• Assist in infrastructure performance and stress testing.
• Coordinate deployments across environments.
• Identify operational issues before production.
• Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Enhance IT infrastructure security protocols.
