Job summary

Payentry is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our software development team. You will design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure, and collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to ensure reliable deployments.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience, hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenTofu, and IaC, and familiar with Git, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and Azure DevOps. Hybrid work from Charlotte, NC area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD, container orchestration, and infrastructure automation.
• Proficiency with Git, CI/CD tools, and IaC concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps) for efficient software delivery
• Automate infrastructure using tools like OpenTofu
• Recommend process improvements to ensure system scalability and reliability
• Manage Azure environment and help identify cost optimization opportunities
• Ensure security is applied in infrastructure and deployment workflows
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, testing, and production environments
• Maintain logging, monitoring, and alerting systems
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams for seamless integration
