Job summary

Chenega Services & Federal Solutions, LLC is seeking a DevOps Engineer to focus on CI/CD for CDC teams, unblocking pipelines and supporting automation across platforms. The role involves hands-on engineering, collaboration with platform engineers, product owners, and development teams in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

The candidate will work to automate infrastructure, maintain AWS serverless deployments with Terraform, and advance CI/CD best practices including agentic AI

• Experience automating infrastructure and deployment workflows.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for CDC teams needing help with CI/CD workflows and unblock pipelines.
• Support the EDSO Product Owner in backlog reduction according to priorities and timelines in JIRA.
• Coordinate with the EDSO engineering team to implement interfaces between EDSO services and CDC systems for CI/CD integration.
• Maintain the EDSO AWS infrastructure for serverless applications using Terraform, ensuring stable client utilization.
• Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot GitHub Actions runners and workflows.
• Write and maintain Python scripts to automate operational tasks and CI/CD tooling.
• Keep the CI/CD environment current, secure, and efficient with proactive updates and issue triage.
• Collaborate across product, engineering, and operations to implement DevSecOps best practices.
• Explore and document agentic AI applications within the EDSO platform to enhance automation.

In this role, your primary focus will be Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD). You'll be the go-to person for the many CDC teams that depend on EDSO for their build and deployment workflows, responding to their needs, unblocking their pipelines, and helping them adopt CI/CD best practices. You'll work closely with platform engineers, product owners, and development teams to automate, optimize, and stabilize the infrastructure supporting CDC's DevSecOps initiatives. You'll explore and test best practices around agentic AI and its potential applications within the EDSO platform to enhance automation and efficiency for our teams and clients. You'll spend your days supporting teams with their CI/CD workflows, managing GitHub Actions runners, resolving pipeline issues, and helping maintain the Terraform-managed AWS infrastructure behind our serverless applications.
