Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and maintain AWS-based infrastructure that supports government operations. You will lead the deployment and maintenance of EKS, S3, networking, and related services, collaborating with Cisco and other teams to manage dependencies and ensure seamless integration across projects.

Using Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm, Ansible, and Python, you will automate deployments, manage Kubernetes workloads, and drive operations

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or software development roles.
• Proficiency in AWS technologies, including EKS, Secrets Manager, Security Groups, and Networking
• Strong skills in Terraform and Kubernetes
• Experience programming and scripting in Python
• Experience with Helm and Ansible
• Must be a U.S. Person: U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee
• Must meet U.S. Government classified-environment work authorization requirements
• May need to be a U.S. citizen on U.S. soil for specified government work
• Familiarity with Army-specific or government-related IT policies, frameworks, or regulatory requirements preferred
• Knowledge of additional cloud infrastructure tools and best practices preferred
• GitOps tooling configuration, deployment, and administration preferred
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills preferred

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain critical application infrastructure supporting mission-critical government operations
• Lead and support the design, deployment, and maintenance of AWS cloud-based application infrastructure
• Manage AWS services including ECR, EKS, S3, and Networking
• Collaborate with Cisco and external cross-functional teams to address dependencies
• Ensure seamless integration across projects
• Use Terraform and Kubernetes to automate and manage infrastructure as code
• Develop Python scripts and automation tools to improve operational efficiency and reliability
• Manage Kubernetes workloads and configuration automation using Helm and Ansible
