Job summary

BCMC seeks an experienced DevOps Engineer to automate and manage cloud-based engagement kits for federal agencies. You will build robust CI/CD pipelines, manage repositories, and apply infrastructure-as-code with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance and DHS suitability, plus 3+ years in DevOps or software engineering. Candidates should be proficient in Python/Bash/PowerShell, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or High School diploma and 7+ years of directly relevant experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance and DHS Suitability required.
• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, automation, or software engineering roles.
• Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
• Experience with CI/CD platforms (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• Scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell; Git and version control best practices.

Responsibilities

BCMC is supporting a U.S. Government customer to provide rapid deployment and management of secure cloud-based engagement kits for cyber incident response and threat hunting operations. As part of the Engagement Support Services (ESS) contract, this program enables analysts to quickly access the tools and environments they need to investigate cyber threats affecting federal agencies, state and local governments, and critical infrastructure. Working on this team means directly supporting the nation’s cybersecurity defenders by ensuring they have reliable, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure available within hours of a cyber incident—helping protect America’s digital infrastructure when it matters most.

DevOps Engineers will automate, optimize, and enhance the deployment and management of Bespin cloud engagement kits. These positions focus on building robust CI/CD pipelines, maintaining source control repositories, and implementing infrastructure-as-code practices to ensure consistent, scalable, and stable deployments.

Required Skills:

• U.S. Citizenship
• Must have an active TS/SCI clearance
• Must be able to obtain DHS Suitability
• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, automation, or software engineering roles
• Strong proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible)
• Experience with CI/CD platforms (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc.)
• Expertise in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
• Knowledge of Git and version control best practices
• Experience with AWS cloud services and APIs
• Understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with configuration management and automation tools
• Strong understanding of Linux/Unix systems

Desired Skills:

• Experience with container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, ECS)
• Knowledge of security automation and compliance-as-code
• Experience supporting operational or mission-critical environments
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies
• Background in software development or systems engineering
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)

Required Education:

Desired Certifications:
