Job summary

Ladders is seeking a DevOps Engineer for a remote role focused on building and maintaining scalable infrastructure, automation, and reliability in a highly secure environment. You will partner with engineering to improve platform health, deployment workflows, and observability across the stack.

The role requires hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS), CI/CD, and infrastructure as code, plus a security-minded approach to mission-critical systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or software engineering.
• Expertise in CI/CD processes and automation.
• In-depth knowledge of AWS cloud technologies.
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform and Pulumi.
• Proficiency with containerization (Docker).
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar.
• US Citizenship required for access to sensitive data systems; TS/SCI with FSP clearance may be required.

This role will focus on building and maintaining the infrastructure, automation, and reliability practices that support secure, scalable operations in a highly sensitive environment.

You will partner with engineering teams to improve platform health, streamline deployment workflows, and strengthen observability across the stack.

Compensation: $120,000 – $145,000 annually
