Role Summary
The DevOps Engineer will establish and maintain secure, repeatable deployment, configuration, monitoring, release, and environment-management processes for the PACT solution within the State's Azure environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish CI/CD and controlled deployment processes.
- Maintain environment configurations and release-management procedures.
- Support State Azure environment deployment and configuration.
- Implement infrastructure/configuration automation where approved.
- Manage code repositories, branching, builds, release packages, and deployment history.
- Coordinate security controls and DevSecOps practices with the Project Security Lead.
- Support configuration/change management and segregation between environments.
- Support vulnerability remediation and patch deployment.
- Configure monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational telemetry.
- Support performance/scalability implementation.
- Support backup, recovery, disaster-recovery, RTO, and RPO requirements.
- Support SSO/IAM deployment configuration.
- Maintain deployment and production-support runbooks.
- Support cutover, go-live, rollback, stabilization, and M&O transition.
Preferred Recruiting Profile
- 6+ years of DevOps/cloud engineering experience.
- Strong Microsoft Azure experience.
- CI/CD, infrastructure automation, logging/monitoring, release management, and environment management experience.
- Azure DevOps experience preferred.
- DevSecOps and vulnerability-remediation experience.
- Experience supporting highly available, regulated healthcare/public-sector applications preferred.
