Product
The state-of-the-art Dynamic Work Execution Platform (DWEP) is built on the premise of digitizing work itself. Computer-guided work digitalizes business processes, instructions, procedures, and forms and is defined using drag-and-drop, no-code tools, including integration to enterprise systems. Work is performed on mobile devices or desktops, with full offline and concurrent user support. Real-time monitoring tools and work portals provide granular visibility and access to all work performed across the enterprise
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
DevOps Engineering & Software Delivery - Primary Focus (~80%)
- Own, administer, and continuously improve software development, build, test, release, and deployment infrastructure supporting proprietary enterprise software platforms.
- Design, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines that provide reliable, repeatable, traceable, and efficient software builds and releases.
- Manage Git repositories, branching and merge strategies, versioning practices, build triggers, artifact handling, and release workflows.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, environment configuration, deployment activities, recurring operational tasks, and release processes using scripting and infrastructure-as-code practices where appropriate.
- Build and maintain containerized development and deployment environments using Docker and related technologies.
- Manage application servers, databases, middleware, build agents, artifact repositories, and other services required throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Coordinate software release packaging, version management, environment promotion, deployment, rollback, and release validation activities.
- Monitor build and deployment environments for reliability, availability, performance, capacity, and failure trends; proactively resolve recurring issues.
- Partner closely with software engineering and QA teams to reduce deployment friction, improve developer productivity, strengthen testability, and shorten feedback cycles.
- Support configurable, metadata-driven, low-code, or drag-and-drop development environments and the applications created within them, including configuration promotion, environment management, dependency handling, and release support.
- Help establish standards and guardrails for visual development tools so that drag-and-drop configurations, workflows, integrations, and application changes can be managed consistently across environments.
- Integrate security controls into development and deployment workflows, including credential management, access controls, vulnerability remediation, dependency hygiene, and secure configuration practices.
- Develop and maintain operational dashboards, logging, alerting, and monitoring needed to diagnose build, deployment, application, and infrastructure issues.
- Document build, deployment, configuration, recovery, and environment-management procedures and identify opportunities for continued automation and process improvement.
Systems Administration & Corporate Infrastructure - Supporting Focus (~20%)
- Administer Windows systems that support development and corporate operations.
- Maintain core enterprise services such as Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft 365, DNS, DHCP, VPN, identity and access management, and related services.
- Support cloud and virtualized infrastructure, including routine system maintenance, operating system upgrades, patching, capacity management, and availability monitoring.
- Maintain appropriate cybersecurity controls, including firewalls, endpoint protection, MFA, privileged access, vulnerability remediation, and security monitoring.
- Support employee endpoints, secure remote access, software deployment, and device configuration as needed, with emphasis on scalable and automated administration rather than manual help-desk activity.
- Maintain backup and recovery capabilities for source code repositories, servers, databases, development systems, and other critical services; periodically validate restoration procedures.
- Troubleshoot network, connectivity, VPN, firewall, and infrastructure issues and coordinate with external service providers when necessary.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in DevOps, build/release engineering, software infrastructure, platform engineering, systems engineering, or a closely related role, with substantial hands-on responsibility for software delivery environments.
- Demonstrated experience designing, administering, or improving CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, or comparable platforms.
