Job summary

Tier 4 Group in the United States is seeking a Senior AWS System Administrator/DevOps Engineer to support and modernize a mission-critical healthcare application environment.

This role blends hands-on infrastructure with cloud transformation, including rebuilding legacy apps into scalable, cloud-native AWS architecture. You will manage AWS services, RHEL servers, WebLogic, and Oracle RDS while driving CI/CD adoption and automation.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of System Administration/DevOps experience.
• Strong AWS, RHEL, WebLogic, and Oracle expertise.
• Experience with GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, and automation.

This role combines hands-on infrastructure support with cloud transformation initiatives, including rebuilding legacy applications into a scalable, cloud-native AWS architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch)
• Manage RHEL servers and WebLogic environments
• Support Java/J2EE applications and Oracle RDS
• Automate operational processes using Shell and Python scripting
• Implement CI/CD and containerization best practices
• Lead POC efforts for application modernization, including WebLogic-to-JBoss and Oracle-to-PostgreSQL migration initiatives

Requirements

• 15+ years of System Administration and/or DevOps experience
• Strong AWS, RHEL, WebLogic, and Oracle expertise
• Experience with GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, and automation
• Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills
• Healthcare or regulated-industry experience is a plus
