Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is hiring a DevOps Engineer in Phoenix to support builds and deployments across Java, NodeJS, and Python. You will manage GitHub Actions, self-hosted runners, and enterprise workflows, while enhancing automation and security.

Responsibilities include Kubernetes cluster administration, GitHub Apps creation, and CI/CD pipeline optimization using GHAS, Terraform, and Ansible. Strong coding skills in Python/Java required.

Qualifications

• Experience with builds and deployments of multiple programming languages (Java, NodeJS, Python).
• Experience with GitHub Actions and GitHub Enterprise administration.
• Experience with self-hosted runners on GitHub Enterprise.
• Experience creating GitHub Apps at the enterprise level.
• Experience with enterprise standard GitHub workflows and reusable workflows.
• Strong programming skills for automation (Python/Java).
• Experience with GHAS tooling and security practices.
• Knowledge of SDLC and DevOps/DevSecOps concepts.
• Experience with Git, Git workflows, and SCM in enterprise environments.
• Experience with DevOps tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) for CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain GitHub Actions, including self-hosted runners, autoscaling, and secure execution environments.
• Design, implement, and optimize Kubernetes cluster layouts and storage.
• Administer, monitor, and improve Kubernetes clusters and hardware infrastructure.
• Work with Terraform/Ansible for automation and integration.
• Collaborate on SDLC governance and security best practices.
• Contribute to enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines and reusable workflows.

• Strong scripting, API integration, and automation skills (GitHub REST/GraphQL APIs, GitHub CLI, Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes).
• Experience with GHES upgrade planning, disaster recovery, replication, and internal service optimizations.
• Cloud expertise (GH Cloud, GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and DevOps security best practices.

Base Salary Range : $90,000 to $120,000 Per Annum
