Peak to Creek Precision Staffing seeks a DevOps Engineer with active Top Secret clearance to support critical government operations. You will maintain secure cloud infrastructure, automate deployments, and enhance security with Python scripts, Linux systems, and AWS-based architectures.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years of experience, hands-on Python, strong CI/CD skills, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams while complying with RMF/ATO processes.

• Recent hands-on Python experience is required.
• Active Top Secret clearance, ability to obtain SCI access, and willingness to undergo a CI polygraph.

About the Opportunity

We’re seeking a DevOps Engineer to maintain and modernize secure cloud infrastructure supporting critical government operations. We welcome mid-level and senior professionals with strong Linux, AWS, CI/CD, and recent hands-on Python experience.

You’ll keep complex systems reliable, integrate new capabilities, and improve automation, security, and software delivery.

What You’ll Do

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional experience in DevOps, systems engineering, cloud engineering, infrastructure, or a related technical field.
• Recent hands-on Python experience is required.
• Active Top Secret clearance, ability to obtain SCI access, and willingness to undergo a CI polygraph.
• Security+ certification.
• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with AWS architecture and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience maintaining and upgrading complex technical environments.
• Strong understanding of automation, infrastructure management, and software delivery.
• Experience working under rigorous security and compliance requirements.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across technical teams.

Preferred Experience

• Supporting intelligence community or other highly regulated government environments.
• Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities and ATO preparation.
• Security hardening and vulnerability remediation across Linux and AWS.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and cloud automation.
• Automated deployment, configuration management, monitoring, and provisioning tools.
• Integrating established systems with new capabilities.
• Improving infrastructure efficiency, reliability, and scalability.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary of $135,000–$210,000.
