Position Overview

LivePerson transforms customer care from voice calls to mobile messaging. The Cloud DevOps team is looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer who takes on challenges, continuously expands expertise, and naturally takes ownership of his work.

Key Responsibilities & Impact

• Develop and maintain automation solutions using Python, Terraform, Ansible, and Bash to streamline deployment, configuration, and management of infrastructure and applications.
• Collaborate closely with development, operations, and other cross‑functional teams to understand project requirements and deploy efficient solutions.
• Utilize cloud technologies, with a preference for Google Cloud Platform (GCP), to architect and manage scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot issues across development, testing, and production environments, ensuring rapid resolution and minimal downtime.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience of 2 years in Python programming focused on automation and scripting.
• Hands‑on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of infrastructure‑as‑code tools like Terraform and configuration management tools like Ansible.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Live within commutable distance to Dallas, Texas.

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $90,000 – $110,000 USD. Final compensation will be determined by a variety of factors, including location, skills, experience, education, and certifications.
