Integrated Staffing Corporation is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and administrate modern containerized infrastructure on-site in Albany, NY. You will collaborate with development and IT teams to deploy applications, stabilize systems, and resolve infrastructure challenges.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of enterprise infrastructure experience with OpenShift or equivalent Kubernetes platforms and a strong background in cloud and automation technologies.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting enterprise on-premises infrastructure (servers, networking, storage).
• Hands-on experience administering Red Hat OpenShift or comparable enterprise Kubernetes (Rancher, Tanzu, EKS, AKS, GKE).
• Strong knowledge of AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Terraform, and related automation tech.
• Experience configuring and managing load balancers and traffic management solutions.
• Solid understanding of DevOps practices, infrastructure automation, security, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent written communication and technical documentation skills.

Job Title: DevOps Engineer

Employment Type: Full-Time permanent
Schedule: 40 hours per week
Work Location: Onsite – Albany, NY, you must be located within commuting distance.
Work Authorization: This position is open to U.S. citizens only and is available as a W-2 opportunity. You will be working ONSITE. This is not a remote role.
Pay Rate: $80,000-110,000 annually depending on experience

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to support the design, implementation, and ongoing administration of modern containerized infrastructure. This position is responsible for keeping technology systems stable, secure, and efficient while working with development and IT teams to deploy applications and resolve infrastructure challenges.

The perfect candidate would have 5-10 years of enterprise infrastructure experience administering OpenShift or another enterprise Kubernetes platform in production. Primary Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain container-based application platforms.

• Administer and support on-premises infrastructure, including servers, networking, and storage systems.

• Manage and optimize enterprise Kubernetes environments, including Red Hat OpenShift.

• Configure and maintain load balancing and traffic management solutions.

• Design, maintain, and improve CI/CD processes to automate and optimize application deployment workflows.

• Implement security best practices across infrastructure and deployment processes.

• Develop and maintain infrastructure documentation, procedures, and technical guides while partnering with engineering, development, and operations teams.

• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and recommend infrastructure improvements.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise on-premises infrastructure, including server, networking, and storage administration.

• Hands-on experience administering Red Hat OpenShift or a comparable enterprise Kubernetes platform, such as Rancher, VMware Tanzu, Amazon EKS, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), or Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).

• Strong knowledge of AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Terraform, or similar cloud and infrastructure automation technologies.

• Experience configuring and managing load balancers and traffic management solutions.

• Solid understanding of DevOps practices, infrastructure automation, security best practices, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Excellent written communication and technical documentation skills.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Tech Field with certifications like RHCE, CKA, AWS

Preferred Qualifications

• Linux system administration experience, Python C++ and web app. development
