Job summary

ManpowerGroup, via its Experis portfolio, seeks a DevOps Engineer in Berkeley Heights, NJ to build and secure Azure-based infrastructure. You will stand up and improve personalized Azure Virtual Desktop environments, strengthen CI/CD with Azure DevOps and GitLab, and automate monitoring and security using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Azure hands-on experience, with strong familiarity and day-to-day support of Azure DevOps.
• Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitLab.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and automation.
• Knowledge of Azure monitoring and operational dashboards, including Azure Monitor and related tooling.
• Expertise with Azure IaaS/PaaS services such as Application Gateway, API Management, App Service, Microsoft Sentinel, Azure DevOps, Azure Storage, and Azure Front Door.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain personalized Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments using automation.
• Use Terraform to provision and manage infrastructure for AVD environments (18 AVDs today, expanding to 25 personalized AVDs by September next year).
• Own Azure DevOps support and pipeline operations, including creating and maintaining build/release pipelines and supporting delivery workflows.

Our client is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support infrastructure build-out and ongoing maintenance in a fast-moving Azure environment. From day one, you’ll help stand up and continuously improve personalized Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments, strengthen CI/CD delivery, and ensure reliable monitoring and security practices.

• Build and maintain personalized Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments using automation, including installing and continuously patching required software.
• Use Terraform to provision and manage infrastructure, supporting the creation and growth of AVD environments (18 AVDs today, expanding to 25 personalized AVDs by September next year).
• Own Azure DevOps support and pipeline operations, including creating and maintaining build/release pipelines and supporting delivery workflows.
• Support and maintain the infrastructure layer for client environments- your focus is infrastructure build-out, operational support, and automation rather than application development.
