Web Cube Enterprise is seeking a DevOps Engineer to build and manage our cloud infrastructure for CMS and eCommerce software. The role emphasizes automation, scalability, and reliability across deployments and services.

The ideal candidate will have strong AWS experience, proficiency with Puppet or Chef for infrastructure provisioning, and solid scripting skills in Bash and Python. Austin, TX-based with opportunities to collaborate across offices.

Qualificações

• Working knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Experience provisioning and administering multi-server clusters using configuration tools (Puppet/Chef).
• Scripting in Python or other interpreted languages is a plus.

We are looking for a special person who can help us buildout and manage our cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidatebe smart, friendly, and will know how to get things done.She will prefer automation to repetition and will never dosomething twice without making it better the second time.

Responsibilities

Make recommendations to senior staff regarding bestpractices and operational decisions.

Automate the administration and provisioning of cloud-basedinstances and clusters.

Instrument instances and services to gather metricsappropriate for operational performance improvements andbilling.

Build good tools to empower other members of the team tohandle their own deployment tasks.

Troubleshooting and fixing issues. You will have the supportof the rest of the team!

Requirements

You must have a working understanding of Amazon WebServices.

You must have experience administering and provisioning manyservers or clusters of servers using Puppet or Chef.

Helpful if you have programming experience in Python, Rubyor other interpreted scripting languages. If you have doneuseful stuff with boto or with Fabric in the past, we wouldlove to hear about it!

You must speak bash fluently!
