Job summary

Allegion invites a Software Engineering Intern - DevOps to join the Global Software Solutions team in Carmel, IN. You will learn to deploy, secure, and monitor cloud-based apps and infrastructure under guidance from experienced DevOps engineers in an Agile setting.

The internship provides hands-on experience with Azure, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools, while you are mentored throughout the program. This paid internship offers meaningful access to real projects and professional growth

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience with scripting or programming languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Unix shell.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Self-motivated, curious, and able to work in a team.
Familiarity with Azure preferred.
Experience with CI/CD concepts is a plus.

Responsibilities

Support deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting of application releases in Azure.
Build and maintain automation scripts and CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, PowerShell, Terraform.
Monitor uptime and performance and drive issues to resolution.
Collaborate with IT, Security, and Product Engineering on projects.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and DevOps initiatives.
Explore new cloud technologies with mentor and share learnings.
