Responsibilities

• Design, implement, operate, and support highly available cloud infrastructure across AliCloud and AWS.

• Define and track reliability metrics (SLIs/SLOs) for services.
• Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for deployments.
• Automate provisioning, configuration, deployments, and health checks with IaC.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Cloud Engineer to design, operate, and support scalable cloud infrastructure across AliCloud and AWS. The role requires expertise in SRE principles, automation, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible), container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes), and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/Splunk). The ideal candidate will have strong Linux administration skills, proficiency in Python/Bash scripting, and experience in building CI/CD pipelines.

This position demands a proactive engineer who can drive operational excellence, incident response, and automation initiatives, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability, security, and compliance of enterprise production services.

Job Description / Responsibilities

• Design, implement, operate, and support highly available and scalable infrastructure across AliCloud and AWS environments.
• Apply SRE principles to improve availability, latency, performance, capacity, scalability, and operational efficiency of production services.
• Define, track, and continuously improve SLIs, SLOs, and reliability metrics for critical services.
• Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, deployments, health checks, and maintenance using Infrastructure as Code.
• Develop automation scripts in Python, Bash/Shell, or equivalent to eliminate manual effort.
• Administer and troubleshoot Linux-based production systems (OS, storage, networking, security, patching, performance).
• Support cloud services including compute, storage, networking, IAM/security, load balancing, monitoring, logging, backup, and disaster recovery.
• Implement and maintain Terraform and Ansible for IaC and configuration automation.
• Work with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized and cloud-native platforms.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and dashboards using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/Splunk.
• Participate in incident response, RCA, and blameless post-incident reviews.
• Develop and maintain runbooks, automation playbooks, recovery procedures, and technical documentation.
• Identify recurring operational issues and eliminate toil through automation.
• Support capacity planning, performance tuning, HA, failover, backup/recovery, and DR readiness.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, security, and operations teams to improve platform reliability.
• Promote secure DevOps/SRE practices including least-privilege access, secrets management, vulnerability remediation, and compliance controls.
• Participate in change, release, incident, and problem management processes.
