Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, seeks a seasoned DevOps/Cloud Engineer to analyze, design, code, and test automated deployment pipelines across multiple application systems. You will maintain and enhance deployment tools and create fully automated CD processes for Linux environments.

You will onboard and train developers on CI/CD, source control, and deployment processes, enabling DevOps across Dev/Test, Staging, and Production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant work experience; Master’s Degree preferred
• Professional level cloud certification(s) in AWS, Azure, OCI or Google Cloud
• Architect level certification a plus
• 12+ years IT experience with a mix of roles
• 5+ years cloud engineering experience with one or more vendor platforms
• 5+ years experience debugging Windows or Linux systems in admin/support/engineering roles
• Expert knowledge of Identity Access Management and Shared Security responsibilities
• Ability to implement backup/storage in cloud environments
• SME level knowledge of cloud accounts and infrastructure
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Expert in storage, backups, servers, networks and cloud service providers
• Skilled in scripting languages
• QA and approve team documentation
• Outstanding communication and project management skills
• Knowledge of information lifecycle management concepts and best practices

Responsibilities

Job description

Analyze, design, code, and test components of automated deployment pipelines across multiple application systems. Perform maintenance, enhancements, and troubleshooting for deployment tools. Create and maintain fully automated CD processes for multiple Linux environments, and create/update build/deployment scripts.

Support the integration, operation, change management, and maintenance of CD tools, and enable full automation of CD and testing. Develop policies, standards, guidelines, governance, and related documentation for CD operations as well as for developers, infrastructure, and O&M teams.

Onboard, train, and support developers on source control, build automation, merge resolution, CI, test automation, and deployment processes based on established tools, policies, and standards. Enable DevOps by promoting code through Dev/Test, Staging, and Production environments. Troubleshoot issues across the CI/CD pipeline. AWS architecture, Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform knowledge required.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant work experience; Master’s Degree preferred

• Professional level cloud certification/s in either AWS, Microsoft Azure, OCI, Google Cloud.

• Architect level certification a plus

• 12+ years of IT experience with a combination of:

• 5+ years of cloud engineering experience, working with one or more vendor platforms.

• 5+ years experience debugging Microsoft Windows or Linux based operating systems in an administrative/support/engineering capacity

Compensation Ranges

Compensation ranges for ASM Research positions vary depending on multiple factors; including but not limited to, location, skill set, level of education, certifications, client requirements, contract-specific affordability, government clearance and investigation level, and years of experience. The compensation displayed for this role is a general guideline based on these factors and is unique to each role. Monetary compensation is one component of ASM's overall compensation and benefits package for employees.

$120,000 - $132,000
