Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, is seeking a senior cloud engineer to design, implement, and maintain automated deployment pipelines across Linux environments and cloud platforms.

The role requires extensive experience with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and cloud architectures. You will train developers, drive automation, and lead cloud strategy initiatives for internal stakeholders and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience; Master’s degree preferred.
• Cloud certifications or equivalent credentials in AWS, Azure, OCI, or Google Cloud.
• Architect level certification a plus.
• 12+ years of IT experience with a mix of roles.
• 5+ years cloud engineering experience with vendor platforms.
• 5+ years debugging Windows or Linux in admin/engineering roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement configurations to meet program and customer needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for deployment and enhancement of cloud services.
• Provide oversight and consultation on cloud strategies and lead cloud projects.
• Design network, storage, and compute specifications for secure cloud operations.
• Train teams on Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, and deployment best practices.
• Translate high-level objectives into detailed technical requirements.
• Validate operational requirements with project teams and clients.
• Approve and refine cloud documentation and best practices.
