Job summary

Infosys Manufacturing unit seeks a Technology Project Lead 1 to guide cloud-native initiatives for automotive, aerospace, defense, and industrial sectors. You will drive timelines, coordinate between clients and technical teams, and ensure SDLC compliance while balancing budgets and risk.

You will lead cross-functional teams, mentor engineers, and implement robust DevOps and security practices to deliver innovative digital manufacturing solutions on schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent; progressive experience allowed in lieu of education.
• US work authorization without employer sponsorship is required; relocation and travel may be needed.
• Experience leading technology projects with focus on cloud architecture and security.

Responsibilities

• Develop project timelines and address resource gaps to ensure timely delivery.
• Serve as liaison between technical teams and clients with regular milestone reviews.
• Support SDLC processes ensuring alignment with client requirements.
• Monitor deliverables across all phases to meet quality benchmarks.
• Contribute to project budgets and manage scope changes with stakeholder sign-off.
• Identify risks and support in effort estimation for new client requests.

In the assigned Job Role of Technology Project Lead 1, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

• Develop project timelines, proactively identify and address resource discrepancies, to ensure timely project completion
• Act as a liaison between technical teams and clients, facilitating smooth communication through regular meetings and milestone reviews
• Support the technical team in following SDLC processes, ensuring all deliverables align with client requirements and specifications
• Monitor project deliverables across all phases, to meet established quality benchmarks and stakeholder expectations
• Contribute to the creation of project budgets that aligns with the scope, strategy, and key deliverables
• Identify scope alterations and new client requests, support in effort estimation, obtaining necessary approvals and securing client sign-offs

Required Skill and Experience

• Strong hands-on expertise in AWS Cloud Architecture and Operations
• Experience in DevOps, CI/CD Tools, Docker, Kubernetes and ECS/EKS
• Working experience in Terraform / Infrastructure as Code
• Detailed knowledge of CloudWatch, Observability Tools, DevSecOps and Cloud Security
• Experience in Incident and Release Management

Preferred Skill and Experience

• AI/GenAI Concepts and Amazon Bedrock
• Stakeholder and Team Management
• Experience in technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance platform engineering teams
• Strong Communication and Leadership Skills

Additional Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
