Job summary

Teva Pharmaceuticals USA is seeking an early-career Device Engineer II to support the development of drug delivery systems, including prefilled syringes and auto-injectors. You will work under design controls (21 CFR 820, ISO 13485) with senior engineers, performing testing and contributing to technical studies in a regulated environment.

You will gain hands-on experience in CAD modeling, testing protocols, and design verification while collaborating with QA, Regulatory, and Manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required or equivalent.
• Interest in medical device/drug delivery systems and regulatory environments.
• Strong foundation in solid mechanics, design, and fluid dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Create 3D CAD models, assemblies and drawings for device development.
• Perform and document physical testing of drug delivery devices.
• Support verification and validation activities under design controls.
• Assist in component evaluation for fit, function, and quality.

You will support the development and testing of drug delivery systems including prefilled syringes (PFS), auto-injectors (AI), on-body injectors, and other combination products.This is an ideal opportunity for a recent graduate (Master’s level) or early-career professional looking to build experience in medical device development under design controls (21 CFR 820, ISO 13485), design verification, and product performance evaluation.
