Job summary

Sittercity is seeking a warm, energetic sitter to spend a few hours one-on-one with our sweet 2-year-old son on Saturday mornings, supporting his motor and communication goals as he works toward independent walking.

The ideal candidate loves reading, singing, floor play and encouraging movement, and can create natural opportunities for him to practice emerging skills, with experience in developmental delays or early intervention preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with toddlers with developmental delays and early intervention preferred.
• PT/OT/SLP or ECE background could be a great fit.
• A warm, patient caregiver who reinforces skills through play.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one care for a 2-year-old on Saturday mornings.
• Actively engage the child and reinforce motor and communication goals through play.
• Read aloud, sing, floor play, and encourage movement and language development.
• Create natural opportunities for emerging skills to be practiced.
